SOUNDCHECK
PREVENTION

Is it even possible to get kids to care about substance abuse prevention?

Meet live client, SOUNDCHECK PREVENTION NETWORK

Soundcheck Prevention Network serves youth, educators, and parents through their anti-DARE approach to substance misuse prevention. Inspired by their passion for music and the power of checking in (similar to a band’s sound check), we reframed prevention — showing donors true impact, earning trust from parents, and appealing to youth.

THE CHALLENGE.

Due to a lack of resources, Soundcheck has no system to communicate with youth, educators, or donors.

Whether parent, child, or teacher, everyone interacting with Soundcheck is afraid to slip out of a role they’re supposed to play, and is isolating as a result.

  • It’s widely known that one in three Americans feels alone

  • Parents are afraid to lose credibility after sharing their experiences

  • Kids are afraid to be scolded for not meeting expectations

Most organizations focus on what the people are doing, the real risk lies in what they're carrying.

THE tension.

THE INSIGHT.

Pressure builds where our voices aren’t heard, making isolation the real gateway drug for everyone.

strategy: show that Soundcheck makes coping a connection, not a confession.

BRAND REFRESH: Check in. not out.

udpdated branding recentered the organization on what they stand for and how they talk about it at every level.

OOH and social amplifying strategy by encouraging youth to check in. social first visual system for soundcheck to adopt.
